Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Design Grove LLC collects through designgrove.agency, how it's used, and the choices you have. Design Grove is run by Mandy Allen. If you have a question about any of this, email hello@designgrove.agency.

What I collect

Information you give me

  • Forms on this site. When you use the contact form, request the capabilities deck, or sign up for emails, I collect what you enter. That can include your name, email address, company, phone number, website, and message, plus any optional answers, like what kind of project you're considering.
  • Quizzes. When you take a quiz, like What's Your First Yes?, I collect your answers, your name, and your email address so I can send your result and guide.
  • Booking a call. When you book a discovery call, the scheduling tool collects your name, email address, and anything you add to the booking form.
  • Working together. If you become a client, I collect the information needed to send proposals, agreements, and invoices, and to do the work.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically, like your browser type, device, pages visited, and general location based on your IP address. This helps me understand how the site is used and fix what isn't working.

How I use it

  • To reply to your message or booking
  • To send what you asked for, like the capabilities deck, a quiz result, or a guide
  • To send a short series of follow-up emails related to what you signed up for
  • To send occasional emails about my work, if you've signed up for them
  • To prepare proposals, agreements, and invoices, and to deliver client work
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it

I don't sell your information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Client work, portfolio, and testimonials

If you're a client, I may show examples of the work I built for you, like screenshots, mockups, and short project descriptions, in my portfolio, proposals, capabilities deck, or on this site. I only do this as your agreement allows, and you can ask me to leave your project out at any time.

Testimonials are only published with your permission, using the name and details you approve.

I never publish or share your confidential information, private data, subscriber lists, or unreleased content. Your intellectual property stays yours. Showing that I built something doesn't give anyone else the right to use it.

Emails

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also reply to any email or write to hello@designgrove.agency and I'll take you off the list.

Services I use

Your information is stored and processed by the tools I use to run the business. Each has its own privacy policy.

  • Kit: email signups and email delivery
  • ScoreApp: quizzes and quiz results
  • TidyCal: booking discovery calls
  • Google Workspace: email and documents
  • Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit): site analytics
  • PayPal: invoices and payments for clients
  • My website host and WordPress: running this site and its forms

I only share what each service needs to do its job.

Cookies

This site uses cookies, which are small files saved in your browser. Some are needed for the site to work. Others, like Google Analytics cookies, help me see how visitors use the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some features may not.

How long I keep information

I keep your information for as long as it's needed for the reason you gave it, or until you ask me to delete it. Client records, like agreements and invoices, are kept as long as needed for business and tax purposes.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under your local privacy laws. Email hello@designgrove.agency and I'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This site isn't meant for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date at the top.
